Shipping Policy

At Sofas24, we aim to make delivery as smooth and straightforward as possible. Please review the following information carefully before placing your order.

 

1. Before Delivery


To ensure successful delivery, please:

  • Access: Make sure your property is accessible for a 3.5-ton Luton van.
  • Parking: Confirm there are no parking restrictions or permit issues at your address.
  • Measurements: All entryways, doorways, and hallways should be a minimum of 75cm wide. If not, please contact us before placing your order.
  • Standard Placement: Delivery includes placement to the front door or ground-floor hallway. Requests for upper-floor or in-room delivery may require pre-approval.
  • Communication: Provide an up-to-date phone number. You will receive:
  • A call 24 hours prior to delivery with a 4-hour time slot.
  • A 1-hour notice on the day of delivery to ensure someone is available to receive the item.


2. Order Processing

Orders placed before 5:00 PM are processed the same day.

  • Orders after 5:00 PM are processed the next business day.
  • Weekend orders placed after 4:00 PM on Saturday are processed on Monday.
  • Once your order is processed, a member of our team will contact you to confirm your delivery window.


3. Delivery Timeframe

  • Standard Delivery Time: 7 to 10 working days from the date your order is confirmed.
  • Custom Orders: Made-to-order and custom-size sofas may require additional processing time. We'll confirm the estimated delivery when you order.

4. Delivery Charges

  • Delivery is completely free to all eligible UK addresses.
  • There are no hidden delivery fees—standard delivery is included in your purchase.

 

5. Areas We Cannot Deliver To

Unfortunately, we are currently unable to deliver to the following postcode areas:

  • AB
  • DD
  • PH
  • PL
  • EX
  • TQ
  • TR

6. Missed Deliveries

  • If no one is available at the time of delivery, the order will be returned to our depot.
  • A redelivery charge of £60 may apply if the delivery must be rescheduled.
  • If you choose to cancel your order following a failed delivery, the original delivery cost (which is free) is not refunded, but return fees may apply.

 

7. Changing Your Delivery Date

  • Changes with 48+ hours' notice are free of charge.
  • Changes within 48 hours of scheduled delivery may incur a £50 admin fee.
  • Same-day changes or cancellations after dispatch will incur a £60 rescheduling fee.
